Satellite Tracking - Modification of a Takahashi EM400 Mount

Thierry Legault, an amateur astrophotographer based in France and author of the famous book "Astrophotographie", decided in 2009 to modify the motor of his EM400 in order to track satellites (ISS, space shuttle etc.). He wanted to capture such bodies passing in the night sky.

He has been using the FireWire astronomy camera DMK 31AF03.AS for tracking and the software application "Videos Sky" by Emmanuel Rietsch to capture the images since October 2010.
