This mosaic image depicts the region of Aristoteles and Eudoxus craters on the northern hemisphere of the moon. Its author, Italian astronomy amateur Alberto Mayer, has been photographing with DMK 31AF03.AS astronomy camera for quite a period. As a matter of fact, many of the great pictures on this blog come from Alberto.
