Click the following link and you will open a Jupiter video made by Ralph Ford, CA. He took dozens of image sequences of the gas giant over the past a few months and made this movie on his own.
He told us in the e-mail
A few months ago I decided to try making a movie of Jupiter's rotation. Using a C8 at prime focus and a DMK 21AU04.AS camera, I took 62 one hundred frame sequences at 1 minute intervals. I processed each video sequence in RegiStax to make 62 individual JPEGs. I then used Photoshop to align each frame. Finally I used PhotoLapse to make the movie. This is a fairly low quality movie file, the original is 56 mb.
It takes time to finish a video like this, a great work indeed! Thank you Ralph!
