Complete View of Sun

Christophe Behaegel is an astronomy amateur from Belgium. He took this remarkable solar image with his DMK 31AF03.AS astronomy camera.

This is what he wrote us in the e-mail:

This is an image made through a maxscope 90 single stack through a single exposure capture of 20 avi's. The single exposure and stacking of some 400 stills per avi allowed the image to be stretched sufficiently so the prominences and surface can be made visible. The resulting images from 20 avi's were assembled through CS4. The resolution shown here is 50% of the original image.

Many Thanks Christophe! Clear Sky!
