Venus has lately been on the focus of many astronomy amateurs. Right after Ed Sampson sent us his image of the planet, Marko Vidovic mailed his work in Ultraviolet from Markovci, Slovenia.

I send you my first try captured Venus in UV light. It was clear and verry cold evening 09.01.2009. I put together my SWMak 180/2700, Schuller UV filter and of course great The Imaging Source CCD DMK 21AU04.AS. I made and processed 700 frames in Registax and here is the picture. I am very satisfied with equipment.
