In his e-mail, Efrain writes:

I'm submitting this photo of Mars approaching closest to earth on December 18, 2007 at 03:55.20UT. The camera did a fantastic capture once again on the planets but on this occasion it was important to capture it, next time at this close approach will be 9 years from now.

This time, Efrain writes:

I'm submitting another session of Mars with outstanding results if it was'nt for the high altitude turbulance it would have been tops.
