Tom Field and His RSpec

RSpec is a spectroscopy program, which reads image data and analyzes its spectrum. The author Tom Field developed this application with the help of The Imaging Source astronomy camera and SDK. He will be hosting a seminar at NEAF next month.

Discovery Photo Shot on Ground

On March 09, 2011, Space Shuttle Discovery completed its last mission and returned to Earth with a cumulative total of 365 days in space. Before this historic flight, German astrophotographer Oliver Stiehler captured an extraordinary picture of the shuttle with his DMK 21AF04.AS astronomy camera.
