Clear Sky Detection with DMK Cameras

Australian amateur astronomer Trent Mcdougall has designed a clear sky detection system, Moondance, in which DMK cameras are used for imaging. Trent has created a video clip of Moondance and published it on Youtube.

Lunar Gallery "Fotografischer Mondatlas"

"Fotografischer Mondatlas", a lunar atlas authored by Alan Chu, Wolfgang Paech, and Mario Weigand includes 388 high-resolution photos of the Moon's surface. Most of the images were taken with DMK 31 astronomy cameras.

Imaging Ganymede with DBK 21AF04.AS

Jim Melka managed to image Ganymede, Jupiter's largest moon, with a DBK 21AF04.AS astronomy camera. Afterwards he compared his photo with the one captured by Galileo spacecraft.

Splendid Photos of the Sun

Spanish astrophotographer Jesús Carmona de Argila took several pictures of Solar Prominence and Sunspot throughout last year. These photos impress us with their unique color and vast amount of details.

Crisp Saturn Rotation Clip

Freddy Willems, amateur astronomer based in Hawaii, made an extraordinary Saturn rotating animation. All images were taken with his DFK 21AU04.AS astronomy camera in last December.
