Lucam Recorder 2.7 Has Been Released

Heiko Wilkens has just released version 2.7 of his capture software 'Lucam Recorder'. The new version supports the 10 bit formats YGB0 and YGB1 of the new Gigabit Ethernet astronomy cameras, manufactured by The Imaging Source.

ISS Transiting the Sun

Ernie Mastroianni is an American amateur from Whitefish Bay, USA. Three weeks ago he sent us a few images of the Moon and the Sun. Last week he captured the view of ISS transiting the Sun. The astronomy camera he has been using is DMK 31AF03.AS.

Crater Image with Stunning Resolution

John Rozakis, an amateur based in Athens, Greece submitted his first lunar image. In addition to DMK 21AU04.AS, he photographed these craters with a Newton 300mm telescope, a Barlow 2.5x, and a red filter.
