French Astronomy Cameras Blog Launched!

On January 28, 2008, the official French version of the Astronomy Cameras Blog was launched. The purpose of the blog is to allow amateur astronomers to discuss their experiences with The Imaging Source astronomy cameras.

USB 2.0 Cameras in "Sterne Und Weltraum", Germany

The German astronomy magazine "Sterne und Weltraum" has published an article in their February 2008 issue, announcing the new line of USB 2.0 astronomy cameras, manufactured by The Imaging Source. Their article offers an overview of the cameras' main characteristics.

Sébastien Kersten's Astropixel.org Web Site

Sébastien Kersten is an amateur astronomer, who lives in Brussels. His site presents a number of images, some of which he captured with a DMK 31AF03. His main goal in creating the site is to show the beauty of space, which surrounds us.

Jean-Christophe Bayart's Mars Image

The dedicated French astro-photographer, Jean Christophe Bayart, has sent us an image of Mars, which he captured with a DMK 21AF04 on December 20, 2007. At the time, the red planet was in opposition, which made this capture especially easy and at the same time, spectacular.
