Total Lunar Eclipse on 'Discovery Science Channel TV'

On August 28, 2007, a total lunar eclipse took place that was visible in all of Eastern Australia and New Zealand. A live video stream of the event was captured with The Imaging Source DFK 41AF02.AS and broadcast by 'Discovery Science Channel TV'.

In the October edition of 'Sky and Telescope', a detailed review of The Imaging Source's best selling astronomy cameras has been published. Both the DMK 21AF04.AS and the IC Capture.AS software scores 4.5 stars out of five with an overall score of 4.5 stars.

This week, we received an e-mail from Jérôme Grenier from France, who proudly announced that he had published some very impressive images of the Moon that he had shot with the DMK 31AF03. He especially appreciates the cameras' good price/performance ratio.

Sun Spot Animation

Hold Siegfried of St. Marein in Austria has sent us a fantastic little animation of a sun spot. It was captured with The Imaging Source DMK 31AF03.AS astronomy camera and Schiefspiegler 300/6000 telescope with an Astronomik green filter.
