The Moon, the Sun, Planets and Nebula

The blog 'Catching the Light' recently linked to a high resolution image captured by Alan Friedman, using the DMK 21BF04 astronomy camera. It shows magnificent details of several lunar craters. In addition, Alan has his own web site that contains a number of spectacular images.

Mercury Transit in 2006

Christopher Go, of Cebu City, Philippines, who became famous for his Red Spot Jr. (aka Oval BA) discovery, has posted some spectacular images of the Mercury Transit in 2006 that he captured with his DMK 21BF04 FireWire camera.

M5 (NGC 5904) Globular Cluster

Tommy Hartline from Texas, USA has recently published a wonderful image of M5 that he captured with the DMK 21AF04.AS camera. After acquiring four frames with 19 second exposure, he simply exclaimed: 'What a nice camera!'
