The self-proclaimed first French language podcast for amateur astronomers has published two exceptional movies that show our astronomy cameras in action. For the purposes of these movies, the author deploys a DMK 21AF04.AS.

'Saturn and Moons' Captured with DMK 21F04

Efrain Morales wrote to us to say that his photo of Saturn with four of its moons was published at Astronomy.com as their Photo Of The Day. To capture the image, he used a 10-inch Meade LX200 telescope and DMK 21F04 CCD camera.

'Wave of Rings' Captured with DMK 21AF04

Stefan Lammel of Uxbridge in the United Kingdom has again demonstrated the spectacular results of the DMK 21AF04 FireWire camera. His lunar image 'Wave Of Rings' appeared on Lunar Photo Of The Day (LPOD).

Lucam Recorder to Support DMK Cameras This Year

Heiko Wilkens, the author of Lucam Recorder, has announced on the Yahoo! Groups DMKCCD-Cameras Mailing List that he is going to release a new version of Lucam Recorder that supports The Imaging Source DMK cameras later this year.

Using Astronomy Cameras on Your Mac with Astro IIDC

Astro IIDC is an application for astronomy that has been developed to simplify the process of capturing images from a FireWire camera connected to a Mac. Using the software, image parameters can be set and single frames and image sequences can be captured.

Craterlet (0.2) for OS x Pre-Release

Craterlet for OS X is designed to give Mac users a simple application with which to capture images from DCAM compatible cameras, such as our range of astronomy cameras. The application allows planetary and lunar images to be streamed to the hard disk in multiple formats.
