The German amateur astronomer Thomas Jäger sent us some images of the Moon, which he captured with his new astronomy camera, manufactured by The Imaging Source. His high resolution image shows the Apennine Mountains in superb clarity.

Axel Canicio - the winner of the astronomy cameras competition in March - submitted last week, an image that he captured with his new DMK 21AU04.AS astronomy camera. He is especially interested in capturing Messier objects. The monochrome image he sent is of M51.
