The Moon

Please find attached a set of images taken on the 19th and 21st July from my suburban observatory in Heidelberg, Melbourne, Australia (ml6 and ml7 were taken through a luminance filter; all others were taken through a red filter). I am an Amateur Astronomer who has always had a keen interest in photography from the 1960′s onwards.

I recently purchased the DMK 21AU04.AS and used it in conjunction with a filter wheel on my 10 inch F/6 Newtonian telescope operating at F/ 15 by using a X 2.5 Powermate.

I am delighted with the quality of this "blue cube" and look forward to imaging Jupiter in the near future.

Thank you Mr. Coombs! Excellent pictures. Sharp and Clean!
